Sylla Siouna lives and works in Athens, Greece. She has studied jewelry design and gemology at the Gemological Institute of America.
Since 2005, she has been designing jewelry objects and general household and office utensils, mainly inspired by the exhibits displayed in the museums with which she collaborates (i.e. the Acropolis Museum, the Fund of Archaeological Proceeds of the Greek Ministry of Culture Ministry of Sports, the Louvre Museum, The Benaki Museum, The Cyprus Museum and the A. G. Leventis Gallery).
In 2007 Sylla designed the “the flower of fire”, the emblem of the Greek-Orthodox school in Lusaka, Zambia.
Since 2014, Sylla has been taking an active part in the shopping area of the Hellenic Airports where she has set up shops which promote the Greek civilization and the creations of Greek designers.
